We are looking to expand our team with an enthusiastic and focused Landscape Architect who can bring their creative and ambitious skills to our team.
Our main practice is based in Maidstone, Kent, offering Landscape Design solutions including Masterplanning and Urban Design, Open Spaces and Parks, Commercial, Residential, Sports and Leisure and Public Realm Spaces across England. We always strive to offer our clients and their projects proactive foresight across Landscape, Ecological and Arboricultural elements – ensuring areas of conflict are identified early on. We work on a variety of projects ranging from Masterplanning of large strategic sites to small scale development, LVIA’s and LVA’s, Landscape Strategies through to Detailed Planting Plans with Biodiversity Enhancements.
We are looking for our prospective addition to be great with CAD packages and have strong graphic ability with InDesign, Photoshop and hand drawing as well as demonstrating technical and design experience whilst working in Practice.
You will be working on a range of projects including Landscape Design, Landscape Planning and Environmental Impact Assessments. You will be expected to effectively and efficiently assist in delivering projects to a high standard within the client brief and budget.
Some key responsibilities of the role:
Working on projects in the form of residential, educational and regeneration schemes - applied across a range of tasks including Landscape Design, Landscape Planning and Environmental Impact Assessments.
Guiding and leading a team in confidently delivering projects to a high standard within the client brief and budget.
About you:
Experience in a fast paced and client focused practice
Degree qualified in Landscape Architecture
Chartered by the CMLI
Worked within a practice for a minimum of 2 years
Competent on design programmes such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and the Adobe suite
Producing technical designs for a variety of projects
Working collaboratively on design projects with a design team
Work on estimates for set projects
Able to liaise directly with clients
Have a proven portfolio of work for interview
Excellent work ethic, motivated and a team player
Experience working across services such as LVIA, LVAs, Masterplanning and Landscape Design In return we are offering:
A salary up to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
